B.A.M.
Multidisciplinary Art Project

From Nowhere to Nowhere is a multi-disciplinary art project. Jelle Brandt Corstius (journalist), Aldo van de Broek (painter) and Fabian Hahne (graphic designer / photographer) traveled a more than four thousand kilometers long train track called ‘BAM’ (Baikal Amur Magistrale) through one of the most remote parts of the world.

Siberia historically served as a place of forced exile. The BAM was partly built by prisoners under harsh climatic conditions and runs through vast landscapes with nothing but endless forests and monotonous towns.

Behind a hill there is another hill,
behind that another and so that thousands of kilometers.
